Japanese art in a necklace

Japanese coin red gemstone coin necklace on rock

Of course there is a wide range of styles when it comes to Japanese art. This coin from Japan features
intricate designs that are different on each side. This coins are tokens of Art history. Each coin tells
a story about the cuture it came from with symbols and designs.

I wanted to design an authentic necklace that matched this authentic coin. Starting with the colors of
the flag of Japan. Red and white. Sweet and simple.

Enjoy the land down under with a New Zealand Coin necklace

Purple pearl NZ coin necklace with a starfish

Both New Zealnd and Australia are considered to be the land down under. That's because these
two countries are located in the Southern Hemisphere, 'below' many other countries on the globe.
New Zealand is famous for its national rugby team, its indigenous Maori culture and its picturesque landscape.

The artwork on my 1980 New Zealnd coin necklace is a koruru - Maori carving of a mask. I t almost looks
like a butterfly to me. I love the intricate detailing. If you have been dreaming of Newland this necklace
might be for you.

her family heritage with an old coin necklace.  The Netherlands to be exact. Some of her ancestors

blue gemstone necklace hangs in front of colorful folkart

Colorful painted bowls and jewelry are two forms of artistic expression that feel pretty joyful to me.
This fabulous bowl came from Sayulita, Mexico. The necklace shown here was made before this bowl
came to live with me. So It may be inpiration for another vibrant necklace to be born!

There are 2 sides to every coin - especially on a necklace

1943 Indian coin necklace with pearls on a seashell

"There are two sides to every coin" typically means you can't have the good part
of something without it's bad part. Not necessarily so when it comes to coin necklaces. Ha!
I absolutley love the unusual shape of this one. And talk detail?! This one has plenty.
Now how about the other side of this coin?

The flip side of this coin is just as good. It's a fabulous coin hands down. I love the
age old patina on the coins and did a very light polishing just to highlight that artwork.

So in the case you get 2 very good sides of the coin:)
